It was the small details that make the difference .
Crown Paints wanted to create a room visualisation tool for use on their website that was far more advanced, interactive and immersive than previous photographic versions. The rooms had to be convincing and authentic and avoid the 'over-perfect' look often associated with computer generated interior images.
Taking a lead from Crown, we built a range of room sets based on supplied mood boards and began a process of massaging the material into believable scenes. However, it was always going to be the small 'real-life' details that will make the difference from conventional 'over-perfect' virtual interiors; a handbag at the side of a chair, an open drawer with clothing hanging over the top, childrens toys on the floor. It was left to our artists to improvise these additions. The end results speak for themselves - see them here >. |
